Go on, take a scroll.

In 2019 I began working on the 2020 Ryder Cup branding and style guide alongside the PGA of America Brand Creative team. Leading up to the event we worked together to create cohesive print and digital collateral for the event and the promotion of the event. Some examples of pieces we worked on include — letterhead, business cards, notecards, envelopes, folders, sell sheets, brochures, powerpoints and google slides, print ads, digital ads, web banners, e-vites, printed invitations, rsvp cards, envelopes, gift certificates, printed and digital tickets, newsletters, scorecards and hardcards, merchandise catalogs, posters, mailers, rackcards, tabletents, banners, pylons, course maps, billboards, media backdrops, gabels, scrims, locker plates, pin flags, cups, wine bottle labels, lanyards, chalets, concession signage, menus, digital signage, tee backs, tv towers, tee markers, tee boxes, and more.

Ryder Cup began in 1927 and is one of the premier sporting events in the world. The match play competition features 24 of the best players from Europe and the United States go head-to-head in match play competition. Drama, tension, incredible golf, camaraderie and sportsmanship are served in equal measure, captivating an audience of millions around the world. It’s an event that transcends sport, yet remains true to the spirit of its founder, Samuel Ryder.

The competition is contested every two years with the venue alternating between courses in the United States and Europe. Team members qualify through a multi-year point system.

In 2012, Ryder Cup Europe and the PGA of America came together to create a worldwide official logo and brand strategy for Ryder Cup, unifying the brand and strengthening the alliance between the two organizing bodies of the world’s most famous team golf competition.

In 2019 I began working on the 2020 PGA Championship rebrand alongside the PGA of America Brand Creative team, we have since branded the 2021, 2022, and 2023 PGA Championship as well. Leading up to each event we worked together to create cohesive print and digital collateral for the event and the promotion of the event. Some examples of pieces we worked on include — letterhead, business cards, notecards, envelopes, folders, sell sheets, brochures, powerpoints and google slides, print ads, digital ads, web banners, e-vites, printed invitations, rsvp cards, envelopes, gift certificates, printed and digital tickets, newsletters, scorecards and hardcards, merchandise catalogs, posters, mailers, rackcards, tabletents, banners, pylons, course maps, billboards, media backdrops, gabels, scrims, locker plates, pin flags, cups, wine bottle labels, lanyards, chalets, concession signage, menus, digital signage, tee backs, tv towers, tee markers, tee boxes, and more.

As the only major Championship for professionals, by professionals, the PGA Championship has evolved into one of the premier sporting events in the world. The first PGA Championship was held in October 1916 at Siwanoy Country Club in Bronxville, New York. The winner, Jim Barnes, received $500 and a diamond-studded gold medal donated by Rodman Wanamaker. For comparison in 2019, winner Brooks Koepka was awarded $1,980,000 and took home a smaller-sized replica of the Wanamaker Trophy.

The PGA Championship was established for the purpose of providing a high-profile tournament specifically for professional golfers at a time when golf was largely run by wealthy amateurs. This origin is still reflected in the entry system for the Championship as the only major golf event that does not explicitly invite leading amateurs to compete.

The PGA Championship is one of four major championships in men’s professional golf. The season’s second major, the event has been played in May since 2019 and features major championship golf’s only all-professional field. The PGA Championship is an official money event on the PGA Tour, European Tour and Japan Golf Tour and annually features the most top-100 players in the Official World Golf Rankings of all golf championships.
